This morning, Amy came home from working out all frantic and excited. She said “Get your shoes on quick, we’ve got to go” and “Just carry Guy”.
Mom and her were coming up the hill and saw a very large black bear out in a field. Amy was hoping the bear would still be there so Guy and I could see him.
We all hopped into the van and sped off down the hill. We got to where they had seen the bear, and sure enough he was still there. As we watched the bear, another bear came ambling into the field. This one was a bit smaller, and cinnamon in color.
Bear season opened today and these bears definitely did not know, and did not care. They were just moseying around in the field without a care in the world. Luckily they were on posted land and I hope they stay there. They were absolutely beautiful.
