I have been talking about getting a tattoo for several years now. Last night I did more than talk…
A little over a month ago, Amy and I stopped at Big Brain Productions to see if they could turn my tattoo concept into something that I would be happy to have on my body forever.
We walked in and after a little wait (they were busy), we met Dan. Dan looked at the idea’s I brought with me and listened to what I was trying to accomplish. At which point he introduced me to Artist Joshua Strader.
Joshua listened to what I had to say, asked me some questions, and then drew a rough sketch. I liked where Joshua was going with the tattoo and asked him if he could put something together. He agreed.
A few weeks later I dropped by Big Brain Productions to check out and approve the preliminary design. A few more weeks go by and Joshua tells me he has the completed design ready for me to approve. I head downtown and LOVE what he has waiting for me. I scheduled an appointment.
Last night was my appointment and Joshua did an amazing job.
It was a very interesting experience. One that I am happy I was able to share with Amy. There was some pain, but for the most part it was mild. It was fascinating to watch Joshua work and see the tattoo come together. By the end of the night we were ~ half way done. So, in a few weeks I have another appointment with Joshua to get the tattoo completed.
I am extremely pleased with what Joshua has done for me, and cannot wait to get the tattoo completed!
As of now, I haven’t decided if I am going to post any pictures. Part of me says wait until the tattoo is completed, the other part of me says, it looks so damn good now why not. I’ll let you all be the judge. Let me know in the comments what you think.
