phone, cases, and tattoo

I’ve been doing some travel for work as well as working with multiple clients. This has made staying “connected” pretty important. So I went ahead and “upgraded” my phone. There were only two phones that I considered. The Treo 700p and 700wx.

I have been a longtime palm user, but I decided to go with the 700wx. I call this an “upgrade” because I am still figuring out how to use it and not everything is upgraded. e.g. I really miss the 320×320 screen on my old Treo.

Now that I have a new phone, I wanted to protect it so started looking at cases. A client of mine had this case and strongly recommended it. So, I ordered one from treocentral. Three days later I had the case in hand. I wake up; get ready for work; put my new phone in my new case; head to work. Long story short… the case was great for 4 hours, until I pulled my phone out to look up an email and forgot to close it. I was sitting down at the time. A co-worker stopped by and asked me to take a look at something. I stood up… case broke. The open lid on the case caught the lip of my desk and broke the latch mechanism and cracked the hinge.

I was bummed, had a broken case and still wanted a way to protect my new phone. I called a friend of mine, he recommended I get this. Unfortunately, it is out of stock and I couldn’t find one anywhere. So I read through reviews online and finally decided to get this, again from treocentral. Three days later and I now have another case. Its my first day giving it a try and so far so good. The leather is stiff, but I expect it to give a little after some use.

On to my tattoo. Well I thought it was finished, but I stopped back down to let Joshua take a look at the finished product and he wants to put in the white. So, March 7th I get to have my third and final sitting. I love the way the tattoo looks now, but can’t wait to see the finished product.
