		<title>JDeveloper with Subversion, Yeah!</title>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Started <a href="http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/">JDeveloper</a> this morning and received the &#8220;updates&#8221; balloon.  This time I decided to take a look and see what was new.</p>
<p>I was pleasantly surprised  to see that a early access <a href="http://subversion.tigris.org/faq.html">Subversion</a> extension is available.</p>
<p>This is what I did to get it working for me on Windows XP.</p>
<ol>
<li>Use the update manager to install the extension.</li>
<li>Restart JDeveloper.</li>
<li>Download the following from <a href="http://subversion.tigris.org">subversion.tigris.org</a>:
<ul>
<li><a href="http://subversion.tigris.org/files/documents/15/29065/svn-1.3.0-setup.exe">svn-1.3.0-setup.exe</a></li>
<li><a href="http://subversion.tigris.org/files/documents/15/29041/svn-win32-1.3.0_javahl.zip">svn-win32-1.3.0_javahl.zip</a></li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Run svn-1.3.0-setup.exe to install the Subversion client.</li>
<li>Unzip svn-win32-1.3.0_javahl.zip into the &#8220;bin&#8221; directory under the Subversion installation folder.</li>
<li>Now in JDeveloper do the following:
<ul>
<li>Click Versioning</li>
<li>Click Select Version System</li>
<li>Click Subversion</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ol>
<p>That&#8217;s it!</p>
<p>I have been using it for a couple of hours now and have not run into any problems.</p>
