LEGO Set 21200, Life of George, Parts List

We had a mix up with our pieces being combined with the boys personal creations which made playing Life of George difficult.

So I went to lego.com hoping to find a published parts list for the set. Unfortunately, LEGO does not publish a parts list with quantities. They do have a list of replacement parts though. You’ll have to put your age in and then use set 21200 to see them.

So with the above list of pieces, Guy and I figured out the quantities to put our set back in order.

a few photos updates

Over the last several weeks I have been working on my first commissioned LEGO mosaic. A sign for the company I work for, Sogeti. It was a fun experience. One in which the whole family, minus Kael, was able to assist with.

This is the first mosaic that I have built that was glued. It was interesting trying to put the thing together and not ruin the whole sign. I was able to snap a few photos while the mosaic was being glued together. You can check them out as well as the finished product, here.

I received a request to post some pictures of my unfinished tattoo. So tonight I “forced” Amy into snapping a few. You can see them, here.

I will be heading back to Big Brain Productions on Monday so that Joshua can get everything finished. Fun times!

marriage and LEGO®

A good friend of mine is getting married in California later this year and has asked me to be a part of his wedding. I am very happy for him and his future bride and cannot wait to celebrate their union.

Thinking of the logistics on how we will manage a trip to California, my loving wife brought something to my attention. She told me that San Francisco is only ~7.5 hours away from Carlsbad. When she said this, I looked at her with my deer-in-the-headlight look and said, “huh?”. She then proceeded to remind me that LEGOLAND® California is located in Carlsbad.

Well, I was happy when my friend told me he was getting married. I was honored when he asked me to take a part in his wedding. Now I am stoked that I actually might be able to swing a trip to LEGOLAND® also!

Wow could this trip get any better.

lego ornament

My November LEGO Shop at Home catalog arrived the other day. It has a LEGO ornament on the cover. LEGO does not sell the ornament. So I decided to make my own. I took a quick stab at it, but the kids were not cooperating so the model is not complete and needs some refining. Once I get some “free” time I will post the finished version, but if you are intersted, here is the unfinished LEGO ornament, and a picture of it.

lego autobot logo mosaic

I am wrapping up a LEGO Autobot Logo mosaic that I created in MLCad. I still need to tweak the pieces a bit, but I think it looks pretty good.

As of now, I do not own enough red and white pieces to make this mosaic a reality. Hopefully that will change soon.

Update: I have finished the mosaic. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Update: Here is a picture of the mosaic for those of you that are interested.
